This is a premium dry red Qvevri wine, crafted by the monks of Alaverdi Monastery in full accordance with the ancient Georgian winemaking tradition. The wine is made from carefully selected Saperavi grapes, grown in the vineyards surrounding Alaverdi Monastery, and is vinified in the Monastery’s historic 11th-century cellar. It is characterized by a luxurious, deep ruby color and a refined, velvety bouquet of aromas. The wine features pleasantly expressed tannins and perfectly balanced acidity. It boasts a long, expansive, and unforgettable finish.
